Registry

We're not really good at asking for anything, as your presence is all the presents we're hoping for. But since it seems to be a top question, we've been working on compiling a somewhat untraditional wishlist as well as a regular registry.

Our Wedding Wishlist: Amazon.ca allows us to bookmark neat items from across all retailers, and makes it easy to strike purchased gifts from the list, whether you buy online or from a brick-and-mortar shop!

The Bay Registry: Our registry number is 400105629081.

The Classic Gift Card: We love gift cards — Winners/Homesense, Ikea, Chapters, Superstore and Home Depot are all places we frequent quite a bit.

Getting here

By Air

The Victoria International Airport (YYJ) is about a 30-minute drive from the north point of Vancouver Island to downtown Victoria if you are flying direct from your hometown.

There are several float plane and helijet options that will take you directly to downtown Victoria if you need a fast option coming in from Vancouver.

By Ferry

If you're coming from Vancouver, the most popular way to get to Victoria is to walk on or drive your car on the ferry. BC Ferry from Vancouver to Victoria (actually Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay) takes just under 2 hours.

Traveling on the ferry is like taking a mini cruise! The ships are very clean and have conveniences such as a concession, gift shops, and the famous buffet. You get to see the gulf islands up close, bathed in their rugged coastal beauty. Seals, eagles, dolphins, and whales are common sights.

By Shuttle

For those of you who don't want to rent a vehicle from the mainland, Pacific Coach Lines offers direct shuttles from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) or downtown Vancouver straight to Victoria as well.

Where to Stay

The ceremony and reception will be taking place in the beautiful countryside in the district of Saanich, which is just outside the Capital City. We've taken the stress level off of you and have located some great spots for accomodation options.
